I will echo sentiments about fran. she seriously needs to be fired as no one respects her and she has lied to everyone. To her, it's all about the money and she will lie to you.
I lived here for 3 years until i couldn't take it anymore. Apts are actually very nice on a superficial level, beautiful large windows with high ceilings and nice kitchen layout with marble island layout.
After a while, though, you do notice the deficiencies.
What drove me absolutely crazy were the absolutely thin walls. Expect to hear everything (i mean EVERYTHING) about your neighbors on both sides. Pray that you get a quiet neighbor. Me, i had a college kid on one side that blasted music all day and night and on the other side i had a new puppy that whined and cried whenever left alone (all the time).
My windows sent a high-pitched whistling sound lots of nights that kept me awake lots of nights. windows are VERY hard to open and have heard of many people hurting their fingers trying to open or close them.
The one good thing is Courtney, the doorman who is great and friendly and acommodating. Management really works him to death though.
Views are very nice to the park. parking is a little annoying.
electricty for me was $30-40 / month first year.. then all the sudden jumped to $100/month. no one could figure out why that was. I know one other apartment that used just as much electricity as me paid $15 / month for 2 years. Makes no sense and no one can figure it out.
There are nicer places downtown with better management but you will have to pay a little more. Don't expect management here to care about you.
