Overall it was an okay experience. My car was never stolen or broken into. Although I was going on a date one night and he got a ticket in front of my apartment and said, "I guess this cuts into our evening". I thought to myself how cheap can you be...needless to say he did not last very long with me. On another note, I had the shower handle come off in my hand and I had to use a pair of pliers to turn the shower on until they repaired the knobb. Maintenance was always efficient and security were extremely nice to me. I did not have a problem with the rental office until I moved out a month early and got charged an astronomical amount for painting. I am an extremely neat person and they were not fair in the assessment of the apartment when I moved out -- I paid the bill but was not happy about it. I always paid my rent on time as well. The tenant above me would walk around his apartment and I could tell where he was walking from the creaking noise. I felt like that guy on that friends episode having to deal with that. Moving in was an adventure I needed a crew of people and moving out was an adventure too but thankfully I had a lot of help on those days (someone to watch the truck) and people to hold the doors opened you know the drill. Guest parking passes were kind of a pain to have to get but I knew that was just part of living there so I was okay with that it just was not as convenient as my last apartment in which you could just drive up without signing in. I did like the security (ring in) door. However, I did not like the rats outside...at times I would carry groceries or laundry and all of a sudden I would see a big rat run across in front of me of course it would shock me and I would scurry quickly to my apartment (this part of living there I could have lived without). One time I was throwing out my trash and would you believe a rat jumped out (almost at me) that was freaky. But now they are funny stories to tell. They usually start with...Bet you can't top this.... haha All in all that pretty much sums up my experience. One thing I will miss is the great water pressure in the shower. This was something I made sure to check before moving in. Got to have good plumbing. Happy Apartment Searching. :)
