I have lived here for about four months, and I too cannot wait to move out. The leasing agent, ----, is the sweetest woman while you are filling out forms and passing a credit check. After that, if you have any problems, good luck!

It took maintenance three weeks to caulk holes that were around my bathtub. Three weeks for a two minute job. They have an online work request form-- don't bother with it. They apparently "never receive" work orders which are filled that way.

My biggest issue was just getting things done. I was having major problems involving neighbors and ---- kept trying to placate me as opposed to solving the problem. The property manager, ----------, is a bully who attempts to intimidate. If you get something from him in writing, be prepared for TON of typos and a retraction soon to follow.

In order to get my issues solved, I had to get help from a lawyer and two Hartford city agencies. Even now, they are STILL not solved.

The walls are super thin. I can hear neighbors showering and engaging in "other" activities. My bedroom wall is also next to the staircase so I get a lot of noise from people going in and out. To make matters even worse, I can also hear what my downstairs neighbor is watching on TV.

In terms of the rats, it is a city, there are dumpsters, you will find rats. With parking, it does blow that there is only one major lot, but you really should know that before you rent. I mean, you do get a tour of your apt and you can tell how far the lot is.

The laundry issue which was discussed really does suck, especially when it's cold. Their price ($1.65) is a bit steeper than other apt complexes in the neighborhood but about the same as laundromats.

Don't rent here!!!!!!!!! You'll have a GREAT experience if nothing goes wrong, but if something does, service here is horrible.
