I'm French, and I stayed in this building for 17 months.
I first singned a contrat for a year, then, I was planning to stay for 8 months, but had to go back to France. So I told them at the office in the building more than a month before I left.
I asked them if they needed to check my apartment before leaving, so there's no problem with the deposit refound, and they told me just to drop the key before I go.
They also told me not to worry about the deposit, that I would just need to wait for about a month to have it back, and they asked me my adress in France.
They never contacted me for more than 4 months, so I decided to fax them.
They answered me that I wouldnt get my money back as I didnt follow the contract... like they never said it was OK...
Those girls welcomed me very well, they were always smiling and friendly, but seems like when you're leaving, they dont care about you anymore, just care for your money!
