Too hot in the summer

Once again, today I woke up sweating because the air conditioning (if you want to call it that) works so badly. Get used to it if you move to Park Place Towers. In the summer, the apartments are always hot and uncomfortable. You'll feel like you live in a tenement on Park Street and not a luxury apartment (as they like to call themselves). PPT will tell you AC is included in rent. What a joke.
Last month I called to complain about the heat and a maintenance worker came to my apartment with a thermometer. As a prior reviewer said, he stuck the thermometer completely IN the vent and proudly told me: "It says 68 degrees, your air conditioning is fine."
That's great. But I don't live in my vent I told him. And my thermometer in the dining area says 80. "Nothing I can do about that" he said.
I can't wait until all the downtown apartments are built. Maybe they will offer the amenities of a true luxury apartment building - like climate control.
