Apparently the previous reviewers have issues: these must be the uninformed who do not know how to use the "on" switch on their thermostats. As tenants we bear responsability in learning how to operate our heat, maneuver our vents to appropriate our heat, and let management know at the first sign of a problem. Yes, we pay to operate the fans in our units, but the heat itself is free. I lived in a cold flat before moving here and my heat bill in the winter ran me $300 pm. Now, the average bill here is $80. Too many times we complain to everyone but those who can affect change. Furthermore, I have never had an issue with maintenance staff. They have always responded efficiently, courteously and appropriately. The grounds are kept beautifully. The pool is always immaculate. The only problem I have ever encountered in our gym is that which was created by a fellow tenant. And if people would stop destroying the walls with graffiti, and throwing garbage around, there would be little concern about the cleanliness of the building. It is not the lack of maintenance or management, it is the complete disregard of my neighbors. I pay for the security that this building provides, and if someone feels that signing in and showing ID is harassment, they obviously have not gone to the Motor Vehicle Department lately. Parking is rarely an issue....its those that come in at unGodly hours who dont want to park on the upper level - but there is ample parking. As far as guest parking, why not have our guests pay' We do! In all this in an enjoyable place to live and I would reccomend it to anyone.
