This place is terrible. I feel just as likely to be robbed from the employees as from a local crack head. While doing the bianual pest control procedure, the apartment employee that accompanied the pest guy proceeded to pick up, handle and play with my belongings. I cant imagine what would have happened had i not been in the room.

The management is sketchy and kind of creepy. the office hours are not acomidating for anyone who has a regular 9-5 job.

my car was broken into on the property and all i got was a "thats a bummer" and a lame story about how they are launching an investigation with the police. yet my car was not the last one to be vandalized.

the plumbing is terrible in the bathrooms. My bathtub does not drain, making long showers an impossibility. Every time i turn on the bathroom sink to wash my hands, water and other gross things bubble up in the drain of my tub. This is lovely seeing as the tub wont drain in the first place, and now it gets even worse if i just try to wash my hands.

the laundry facilities are nothing to be impressed with either. the washers and the dryers are small and cost $1.50 each load. The washers are not very clean either. i'm never sure if my clothes are going to come out cleaner or dirtier after i wash them.

The water boiler malfunctioned and it took management 4 days to get hot water again. the hot water failed on a sat and it took until tuesday evening to get water again.

I agree with this reviewer about everything, especially the management...they don't even use their last names in business correspondance. Already looking for a new place. One positive thing I will say is that my neighbors all seem to be decent people, and living on Asylum Hill, that's not an easy thing to say. So I guess they do a pretty good job of screening, because I have never felt unsafe walking the halls or riding the elevator. Overall though, this place is a dump, an old and poorly maintained property.
