As another reviewer noted, Regency Towers is a condominium so I am surprised to see it on apartmentratings.com. That being said, if you are going to live in an apartment in Hartford you can't really go wrong with Regency Towers. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The maintenance staff seems to really take pride in keeping things looking good, but I think they could use at least one more person to really keep everything in ship-shape. Get past the truly horrendous lobby decor (looks like it was re-decorated circa 1986) and the slightly tired looking exterior (glass walls really need a good cleaning), and you have found a really fabulous building with snazzy apartments which ALL have balconies. There is a small pool (recently re-plastered and always kept super clean) and a large sundeck which are rarely used so you usually have them to yourself. The parking is a bit tight (more apartments than spaces, I think), but not too bad, and everything is assigned so your guests need to park on the street. The upshot is that this location is convenient to two of the best bus lines in Hartford: the A and the E. I also find myself doing a lot of errands on foot from here, many stores, bars, restaurants, and banks are within walking distance. Woodland Street is very clean and a pleasant place to live. I walk home from work late at night and have had no problems. We have been very happy at the Regency Towers and plan to stay for a long time. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
