Great apartment, bad parking

I lived here for about 8 months. The apartments themselve are great: huge 16-foot ceilings, exposed bricks, exposed beams, plenty of room, and the rent is VERY reasonable--I paid $650 plus $50 to be allowed to sign a short-term lease. The building is clean and safe (there is a key to get in, a key to use the elevator, and then your own house key). The leasing staff are very nice. the area is convenient, especially if you are young: the bars are all nearby, the train station is across the street, and I-84 and I-91 are minutes away.
Now, the bad stuff. While the building itself is very quiet, the noise on the street on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays is intolerable if you're trying to sleep. There is no parking, so you're either stuck on the street (where my car was broken into twice) or stuck paying $75 or more for a monthly spot. Only one parking lot -- the one at the train station -- is monitored 24 hours a day, so park there.
Overall, a great place to live, but beware the noise and make sure you spend the money on a parking space--it's worth it.
