Make sure you stay on top of your montly rent and GET A RECEIPT. The leasing company will try to con you out of more money by accusing you of NOT paying your rent or for paying LATE. Or, my favorite, will close the office half an hour before their posted business hours, so that by the time you drop off your rent, you're stoned out of luck. The laundry fees are also constantly going up!
They also don't know how to keep abreast of records and are, at times, inept.
The rent is a bargain for being located downtown. The apartments are quirky and roomy... but at the end of the day, the staff and constant leasing manager turn-over isn't worth the hassle.
