i've lived here for a year. i've also lived on the other side of the mall at the other "luxury" apartment complex. and at other complexes in the area.

no, aspen woods isn't the best. the office staff is horrible, because of where my building is (on a corner) there isn't enough parking on the weekends when my neighbors have friends over, but it seems to be only my building in the whole place that has that issue.

i haven't had any major noise issues, just the normal ones from living in an apt building...i pretty much only hear my neighbors when we are both in the bathroom at the same time.

yes, along with the staff not being the smartest people around (don't even get me started on them) they decided a few months back to install a buzzer system to get into the buildings. this is after they put locks on all the outer doors and prior to us getting the buzzers in our apartments and/or any info on how to use them. personally, i am sick of not knowing when my delivery has arrived or when a friend has come over.

if you can get around the idiotic staff, then i think this is a great place. close to everything and the buildings are built with much more insulation than the other side of the mall.

so no, i wouldn't say this is the best place to live, but compared to the other 2 options it is much better. i just renewed my lease for another year.

just remember, choices made to hire this new staff all began with the new manager. great choice huh? it's all politics.
