I moved to Aspen Woods on June 20, 2005.
When I moved the management was very good and took care of the residents like family members.
Since August or September of 2005, the management has changed. The current management is very rude and for every problem, they will either give you a phone number or ask you to come in later. After several attempts with management for proper installation details/criteria for DirecTV, I had to pay 150$ to get it installed according to the rules and regulations of the apartment complex. They even have rules for parking in winter such as if you do not move the car the next day of the storm they will tow away the car to clean the complex.
This apartment complex makes me feel like I am living in a jail where I am a prisoner living by the rules of the management jailors For each and everything they have rules.

Another bad thing about this apartment is that they want the rent checks/money order to be mailed to NJ where it gets processed. One cannot drop it in the apartment rent box. I had mailed my check to NJ and due to uncertanity in the receiving date of the mail , I had sent them a post dated check as of the first of the month. This mail reached them before first of the month and they deposited the check. The apartment management 's bank deposited a post dated check before the actual date and hence it bounced. Because of management's bank mistake, the management now wants me to cover up their bank's problem and are asking me to pay 25$ late fee. Since I noticed a bounced check online, I sent them a new check again as I wanted to be courteous. The management are not ready to accept a new check. Infact they want me to pay by money order again. What kind of Apartment Complex is this.....
When I call the office at Manchester and talk about my problem, they give me a NJ telephone number to call who happen be the finance company of Aspen Woods. The availability of finance is only from 2:30 p.m.to 3:30 p.m on papers but if you happen to call them it will take days rather years to contact someone from finance team. I waited for 2 hours just to hear that the person is no longer taking calls as it has been past 3:30 pm. On second day I waited for 1/2 hour. The voice messages simply go into a black hole which I realized after leaving them atleast 5 voice messages.

In my entire history of stay in US, this has been the most horrible experience with Aspen woods management.
The only good part is that the maintenance team (Frank and team) respond to problems immediately within a day and kudos to them for doing a great job.

well, well, well, just more and more residents are finding out just how efficient management is. i'm sure they're real proud of themselves for making that change for "the better" lmao look around people!!!!!!!!!!! there are sooooo many other place around that have experience, ARE PROFESSIONAL and will genuinely love to have you as a tenant, not just happy once they LOCK you in a lease.
