They talk to you very nicely when you move in. After that its all up to you... they dont return security deposit but on top send you bills for stuff that is not dirty... they think they can continue making money in such a way... I think all residents should get together and fight against these people....... the staff is extremely rude and has no clue as to what they are doing or saying... they just want their money and keep business going.... garden homes in general is worst builder to buy or rent home from... they are total scams.

the same exact thing happened to me!! when I moved out, my apartment was SPOTLESS - yet they REFUSED to do a walk through with us, kept the whole deposit, and then sent a bill for an additional $465.00!! I fought long enough and since they would not prove that there were any damages I finally threatened to sue them - they removed the additiona $465 charges but kept the rest. The day I moved out, the family across the hall moved out too - apparently they were charged the same thing we were - when the main office called about my complaint, they read me the wrong info - the info from the other apartment.
