The apartment complex looks like it is nice at first but once you start to live in there things start to fall apart. My deck screen door would never open and they charged a ton to replace it. It is frustrating when you have called maintenance numerous times to fix it for FREE. The washer and dryer are not worth the extra money to spend at this apartment complex. The washer and dryer never worked properly and would take about 5 hours to dry one load of laundry. They will charge you for this even though you reported it to maintenance. Finally, they will take all of your security deposit for things such as the sink not being clean, which my sink was clean. When I called six different times to talk to someone about my security deposit I asked if you could give me specifics. They said there are too many. When finally after probing for mor information they finally told me that it was because the sink was not cleaned. Also, charging for $500 for carpets to be cleaned is absolutely ridiciulous. As my last complaint about this horrible apartment complex is that the staff is incredibly rude. You feel as though you are wasting their time and they are the most unhelpful people you will meet. I am extremely disappointed with Aspen Woods and will NEVER recommmend anyone to live there. I cannot believe they can get away with this!!!

I would totally agree to the posting. Since the fixtures are of poor quality, they charge the tenants to replace it in the future. If you call maintenance even once in a year, you are bound to get fine. They try to get money for exiting problem and never fix things. It is their way to do business. Not sure if BBB would help or give some direction to seek help. Another important drawback is they don't inspect your house with you(inspite of requesting them), just to make sure they charge lots. Too many bug problems this year, with the problems in screen door (invariably to most of the apartments) it is getting difficult to open it for fresh air. They only clean the lawn near the apartment office. You can clearly see the hole in the road when you come out from building 4. Once you book your apartment, don't expect decency from the office folks.

They don't inspect the house with you which is very uncommon. Once you sign the lease expect no respect. They know how to get as much as money possible. One suggestion is that don't pay extra money above your deposit. Since they don't respond to your queries keep that as your records. They won't tk any action since their charges are not valid. They don't clean the pool, don't mow the lawns which are not closer to leasing office, don't expect them to clean the snow. Thats their mentality and strategy to make money.
