I have lived at Fountain Village for almost 3 years now. I have been a good renter and paid on time, although I was late once and believe the main office could offer a "grace period" to tenants who are responsible over a year's time or more. I am disappointed by the lack of basketball hoops on the courts, some days I'd like to be able to go shoot hoops and not just throw a basketball at a plain backboard with no rims. Parking seems better this year, although in the past, I never understood why I was unable to find a spot in my lot. I suspect people may manufacture fraudulent ID tags for the rear view mirrors of guests. That's one theory.

Overall, this is a convenient and quiet area close to Hartford and the Buckland area of shopping. I do live on the ground floor so at times I find it a bit annoying that people walk on the ceiling and pound their floor at all hours. Otherwise, you adjust. I think the maintenance staff is decent although they should do a yearly inspection of the apartment to see if they can improve conditions for tenants, and make sure nobody has smuggled pets in there. I did see a squirrel come out of one apartment building.

I definitely recommend the living here. Just make sure you park early enough to get a spot, dont take a room near where the guy uses his chainsaw at 7AM and bring a flashlight to the basement where you do laundry, to make sure no critters get ya!

I HAVE LIVED HERE 19 YEARS I GREW UP HERE AND NONE OF WHICH IS TRUE STOP TRING TO MAKE IT SOUND SO BAD YOU WANT TO SEE BAD WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE APARTMENT I HAVE NOW YOU'LL REGRET ALL THAT YOU HAVE SAID MY BATHROOM SINK IS FALLING OFF THE WALL THE WATER IN THE TUB TAKES ABOUT A HALF HR TO GO DOWN WE GET 10 MIN SHOWERS BUT YET WE HAVE TO PAY AND GET OUR OWN WATER AND THE WALLS ARE SO THIN YOU CAN'T EVEN HANG A PICTURE. YOU WANA SAY THESES APARTMENTS ARE SO BAD AND DARK AND LOUD ANC ANIMALS COME LIVE IN MY APARTMENT YOU'LL THINK YOU GOT IT SO NICE WHERE YOU ARE NOW STOP YOUR BITCHIN'
