I have gone through all these ratings and will some may have value (noise) you have to consider this. Most of what I have read has everything to do with the maturiaty of the author and what expirences they have had dealing with Grace. Have I received a noise complaint before, yes. Why because my children were too loud and someone called and complained. Was I notified, yes; and it was done in a proper manner. Grace called me and asked that we keep it down. I did ask to know who was the complainer and Grace would not tell me either, putting the shoe on the other foot would you want your neighbor to know you placed a complaint against him' Are there bug problems' In some apartments there used to be, although most of these places had free standing dirty dishes, open food laying out; basically a place where I would not want to live. Did my apartment have "Ants" yes at one time there were a few but it also was delt with in a professional manner and done. Maintence is also a issue, here is my expirence with that; a few months ago I actually worked part time for the staff here in between jobs. All the after hour calls I got were either, noise complaints, lockouts or someone who knew something was wrong in their apartment but let it go until it did not work any more. The mentality of most in this building are 20-25 year old almost adult people who think they can subject their "Party Life Style" on others. While majority of those do chill out after a certain time but some treat this building as a "College Dorm". So back to the maintence if your bathroom has issues and you know about it and never reported it until the water comes pouring out after you flush then shame on you, we don't want you in the building. Its just a few of those rotten people who subject their wills to the rest of us. I can not begin to guess how many times I have removed something from the back door to hold it open so some one who is lazy refuses to properly let someone in. I worked for the bldg for about 2 months and could not take the "A$$'s" that live in the building. I took one call from a drunk resident who felt that me getting dressed and letting him into his apartment taking 20 minutes took way to long. Then he did not have proper ID so I refused to let him in at all, was he pissed; oh yeah. Now look at it the other way what if it had been a stalker or someone with bad intentions........ Everyday I see the maintense crew cleaning the halls, mostly trash that residents tend to leave in the hall ways. I was walking up on a few younger adult males (early teens to mid-teens) and saw one spit on the wall and put a cigarette out on the carpet. I walked up and asked him to clean his mess up and he looked at me like I was crazy. He did clean up his mess. If you come into this building with the attitude of this was a older factory you'll do fine. Get to know your neighbors and respect them, it will make your stay a better one. I have also read about living space and gas bills, I have lots of expirence with that here. I have lived here since 1998 and my average gas bill is $60.00. I keep my apartment at 68 and don't do foolish stuff, OBTW my apartment has 14 foot windows and around 2200 square foot. So just read the comments and take them with a grain of salt. I do consider Grace as a friend, but even if she was not I would still write the same review.
