Im finishing my last year in the Yarn Mills this November and it can?t come soon enough. No one is kidding about anything written in these reviews. Sure the place looks nice, but there is no privacy, Grace DOES NOT care about the problems going on with the apts or the neighbors, and the places are not kept up. We still have a brown water spot on our ceiling from when we first moved in that we just gave up on asking them to paint over. (It was caused by the toilet overflowing and us being told to "fix it ourselves.") Our refrigerator is loud and doesn?t freeze anything except ice! It won?t even keep ice cream frozen. You have to relight the gas stove every time you want to cook. As for the laundry facilities, its like washing machine roulette when trying to wash your clothes because you don?t know if its going to eat your money or not. And you even have the pleasure of having some of the other tenants throw your clothes on the floor while they are still wet and use the remainder of your drying cycle. (How sweet!) Waist of money! $965 a month and rising for this dump!! I can?t say we have really had a problem with bugs, but we did have the occasional strange fruit fly in the middle of winter, and the occasional spider, but nothing crazy. I just wouldnt recommend these apartments to anyone because they shouldn?t have to go through all the aggrivation we went through.
