I stayed at the Yarn Mill for one year and can say that I loved the size of the apartment. You will not find an apartment around for this price that is this kind of size. The ceilings are high which make a for a great look and nice feel. The nieghborhood is not bad and I did not experience a sense of safety being infringed.

Yet there are some big downsides. The walls like people say are very thin, so you can hear everything from people arguing to couples having sex. You can hear your neighbors phone ring and you can hear their alrm clocks. Also it is very expensive to heat and ac the place. The ac is great, but it runs your electric bill to 100 bucks and over.

The maintanence crew is very slow on getting to things. I had to write a letter to get an answer after 3-4 phone calls to repair the thermostat and the stove. The office just doesn't seem to work on things very fast and don't seem to want to go out of their way. For the price that they are getting, I really believe they need to take that up a notch big time.

The laundry facilities are really shabby, but so are many. The nieghbors seem to be very restectful and helpful, but they all feel similar in the faults of this place.

When it came to moving out, I left the place looking better than when I got it, but there was still 75 bucks taken off for things that did not need cleaning.

All in all, try to find a home to rent or stay at the aprtments by the mall. They seem to run for a similar price and they may work out better.
