We lived there for 4 years, never late with the rent, put up with thin walls, extremely poor service and rude management. We finally saved up enough money to buy a home and let them know 3 months in advance that we were moving. They treated us like we were trying to jip them! They made us pay an extra fee for living one month outside of the lease and they kept $160.00 of our deposit money because they said the walls had bed stains and needed to be painted. Aren't they suppose to paint after we leave anyway''' And we were there for 4 years! We took care of the place! They seemed to have forgotten that we painted the kitchen ourselves one time and we fixed the bathroom fixtures because they were never fixed properly. We asked them if we could use wood fixtures in the bathroom instead of the silver ones and they said fine. But then charged us $25 to replace them after we moved out! I felt so hurt by them and I spent hours cleaning that place before we left! We are decent and honest people and they treated us very badly. We thought about taking them to court and I had pictures to prove how nice we left the place, but decided against it. Wasn't worth having to deal with them any longer! I would never recommend Yarn Mill apartments to anyone. Also, our Jeep was broken into during a beautiful summer day - stole the radio right out of it. It's a shame because they were very spacious inside and I loved the exposed brick, the rustic beams and huge windows... but NEVER AGAIN!!! Good riddins Grace!!!
