Obviously the one positive comment must have been written by Brophy Ahern as displayed by the numerous spelling mistakes. Don't move in! All the complaints are so true. The walls and floors are thin. If any side neighbor or upstairs neighbor wakes up, so do you. You can even hear every word of conversations that take place next door. I highly doubt that any cleaning occurs after someone moves out. The carpets are old and almost even greasy, sticky, and completely crushed and are in need of replacement. The blind don't go up and down and are bent. Manitenance does not occur 20 minutes after you call, but typically after multiple phone calls and a few days to few weeks if ever (which is more the case). And if you have an interior apartment, you will probably end up parking on the opposite side of the very large parking lot (where the only spots are available) and then walking up a few flights of stairs and through 20 very heavy doors of which 4 probably need key access. This is such a pain if you try to take out trash or carry in groceries. And, trash has to be carried out to the dumpsters (a major pain)rather than haveing smaller trash bins within the building that are emptied regularly by Brophy Ahern employees, like most other large apartment buildings. Security is an issue, but more of cars than the building. Cars safety is an issue. I have not heard of any complaints of apartment safety. The doors are often propped open because the key barely work and are such a pain to open when carrying items such as trash, groceries, etc. as stated before. In conclusion, do not move in!!!!
