Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I am a female business professional who has been residing at this property since 2002.
I have rented in 9 different communities in 9 different states over the past 15 years and this one beats them all. I recently renewed my soon to be expiring lease for a short term period as my company defines my next assignment. When I asked the manager who i could contact about just how great this property and it's team are, she mentioned this rating site to me. The unfortunate thing about this site is that anyone can rate it. I see the negative comments in just a rare few and they really are not my findings. IF you want total peace and quiet you'll never get it unless you move to the country and surround yourself in acres of land. But, I can say that having been in all these mills, Ribbon Mill is so much more quiet than any of the others. It's better insulated and the clientel is so much more mature and proessional than the others. Also I have friends and coworkers that have lived in the other mills and $400.00 electric bills in the winter are not unheard of. Ribbon Mill's $60.00 maximum is awesome for a place that features 17 foot ceilings and windows! They allow use of the heated pool and fitness center 24 hours a day to their residents. It's clean and quiet and FREE, if you live here and never use it, how is that their fault' The laundry is coin-op, clean, well lit and only $1.50 a load. I have never seen a broken machine for more than a day and it's rare.
The manager not only delivers packages straight to your door, she is always smiling, eager to help in any situation, and she is a one-person show! She has always treated me professionally and with care since day one. It is a community where you have to walk 200 feet from your car to you apartment. I've never heard anyone complaining. I think the amount of walking I do here is good for me. They remove their smow the best of anywhere! Right down to the sidewalk while others have mounds of it. The halls ARE clean and they see to it daily. They Do allow cats and small dogs and I have seen an occassional mess, but they are so concientious and on top of any mishaps that occur. You get 2 parking permits with any unit and there is plety of it and it's well-lit, in the winter if you have an overnight visitor there is visitor parking and a huge school parking lot available 1 block away to handle banned street in winter problem. the ticket if you do park is $7.00, which is cheap for overnight parking! I have renewed 3 times now and I started out at 890.00 and now I am at 915.00. NOT BAD! I have NEVER been left with a bad feeling by management or maintenance in the entire time I am here. They make me feel like they care!
If you want a very unique and charming, quiet and safe environment to call your home, check it out for yourself. The first impression will remain your impression for no matter how long you live here!
