I have lived here for 1 year and I am 2 months into my new lease. A week ago, I found out I am being sent out of the country and I have to break my lease. Management was just as professional when I went to tell them this information as they have been from day one. I was given A choice of paying a settlement fee up front or paying until it is re-rented or lease expires whichever comes first. I decided to take my chances and see if it rents quickly. 4 days later the manager called me to say she has secured an application for 6 days after I vacate and if all goes as planned I will only be responsible for about 5 days penalty. This company is the best residential management company I have worked with. I travel and move for a living so I consider myself an authority. I have actually lived at several Equity Residential properties and they are all very top notch. Ribbon Mill is the most unique by far. The residents are all very professional. It's not that noisy, I never had any problem that I would mention. I thought the fitness center was perfect for my needs...modern, well lit, private. I don't mind the dogs, I actually enjoy seeing the little dogs and have grown fond of most of them. They only have about 20% of the building with small dogs so I really don't find it disturbing in my time here. It's the staff here that makes it though. They are all very good.
