While the actual apartments are VERY nice, the walls are paper thin. Prepare to share every word of your conversations with your neighbors and vice versa. Street noise is also horrendous. The maintenance staff (1 person) is excellent, but the on-site management is horrendous. Often, the parking lot lights are out very late at night, the hallway carpets are dirty and smell, and the gym is run-down and pales in comparison to the gyms at other mills nearby. Also, laundry is more expensive than at other mills, but the machines are the same (only not all of them work at Ribbon). Overall, Ribbon Mills is a terrible value.
