Maintenance is a joke. Most of the men don't know what they are doing. They come to "repair" and when they leave 50% you are in the same boat -- no worse because the front office thinks things are fixed.
Since living here (for over 2 years) we've seen the place deteriorate. Snow removal is done the cheap way with their maintenance men. It's decent, but cheaply done because the men don't have the same equipment as contracted help.
Everything about the way the apartments work is "on the cheap" and yet they will charge you in a heartbeat for everything. We've heard stories that everyone gets taken to the cleaners when they leave. No one gets their security deposit back when they leave (so we've heard and read here on this site the same things.)
These apartments are the most expensive in this area, and it's really not worth it. They are NOT in that great of shape. You pay a yearly amenity fee that isn't worth it. The tennis courts are awful and they look the gates in the winter time so you can't even go in the enclosure. The weight sets in the weight room are in constant disrepair and broken more than 50% of the time.
The office staff majors in minors nit-picking about minor "lease violations" yet the trash areas are awful, they won't do anything about rude people in the complex that are inconsiderate to their neighbors, and they could care less about things like mold growing in the apartment (which we have and reading here it appears other renters have as well.)
In short the place is NOT worth it. The traffic is awful, but this is simply a function of location and isn't the apartment's fault. If they would take care of the things they can control, the traffic would be bearable. As it is there are too many oversights, excuses, inconsiderations, and mismanagement to even CONSIDER renting these apartments when they are one of the worst in the area and charge the most.
When we can leave (and I guess we better start saving so when we get taken to the cleaners, we can at least pay it), we will leave. This place could actually ruin you financially, it's that bad.

I find this response rude and untrue like I find the rest of the horrible things people are saying I live here and I take pride when people come to visit me I dont know were these people have lived before but this is the best apartment living I have ever lived in..

I've lived here less than a year. The trash does smell in the summer. The pools as far as I've seen is clean. I do get the feeling that management will try to squeeze every penny they can when I leave. So far I'm happy with this place. Much better than other places I've lived before. Lets see how things go in the winter.
