I have been living here for almost a year, and I wanted to give it a chance before I wrote a review in case things changed. But so far, I have very few complaints. I have a 2 bed 2 bath with cathedral ceilings and fireplace, which I LOVE. Also, having 2 bedrooms gives you a much roomier balcony so we have a nice table out there, which is great.
Some of the things I read on here concerning the amenities never being open, etc, I don't understand. The gym and laundry are open 24 hours (I use them a LOT, and at all hours of the night), and the pools and raquetball/basketball are open till about 9... I never use them though. I never have had a problem with stuff being in poor repair except a couple machines went down in the gym and it took a while to fix, but it did get done.
I have had a couple issues with maintenance taking a long time to respond, once I even had a person tell me that it had been crossed off their list as "finished"; I was really mad about that! But since then they have been timely and I got a new dishwasher to replace my busted one and it works AWESOME, it's such a treat to have a nice dihwasher!
I really love the atmosphere in the complex; I take walks around a lot and I think my favorite part of living here is how much care the landscapers take. There were hundreds of tulips this spring and beautiful flowering apple-blossom and dogwood trees everywhere, it just felt welcoming. I like that its pet friendly, both because I have 2 cats and because it's nice to see other people out walking their dogs and stuff, makes it feel more like a little neighborhood.
I have hot water all the time except when I take really long baths, and then I sometimes run out. And yes, you can only have Cox cable, which SUCKS, we finally canceled our cable altogether. You can get a dish but there is a huge fee for having it on your balcony, about $800 in total.
All in all, I like this place better than anywhere else I have lived so far and I plan on staying a while. They definitely have their issues but you just have to nag them and sometimes sending an email to the big office helps; that's what I did about the equipment in the gym that wasn't working.
I think that if you are used to apartments none of the issues you have here will really come as much of a surprise, but I'm sure everyone has different experiences and some are worse than others. Maybe mine is unusually good, who knows.

All I can say is that you must have an apartment near the rental office. That part of the complex gets very good care and service. The rest of the place is garbage. Take a look around before you rent.
