I am renting a two bedroom apartment from Waterford Commons. I came back from a 10 day vacation and I found that there is a plenty of water on the carpet in my master bedroom and the room has high humidity. I left several message to the manager and got no response at all. I called the emergency maintenances people and they set up a fan to blow the carpet. They squeezed all of my furniture to the living room and the other bedroom. Also, there is a strange chemical smell in my apartment after they started the fan. The maintenances manager told me that the air conditioning above me was leaking and probably it is the source of the water. I have a 8 month daughter and 2 and half year old son crying all the time and there is no room for them. Especially, the chemical smell hurt them. I kept calling the manager, left her several message and get no response. She never return my call.

Finally, I caught her on 10:08 am the following day. She is very rude. She said it is not their fault and there is nothing they can do. I mentioned that the source of the water came from the apartment above me and the manager told me she will talk to the maintenances people. Then she said that the maintenances people were not sure about this situation which is different with what they told me.

Because of the chemical smell, I couldn't live in the apartment. I asked to transfer to other apartment. Initially, she said I have to pay for a transfer fee. Then she said that there is no other apartment for me to transfer. I asked for compensation for this nightmare and she said it is their fault. She told me that there is nothing they can do and I have to be in that apartment.

I paid for a good environment and it is their job to maintain the property. They did do their job and also they don't care about the customer. They are such a bad management. If you choose this apartment, you are choosing a nightmare.

Also, early this year, they have a lot of ants in the apartment and they are so rude when I tried to schedule an appointment to kill the ants and it took them so long to do that. If you call them, they are always away and will not return your call. What a bad management.
