After two years as a resident with no intentions of moving - I have to say the things I think need improvement aren't enought to make me move. Here are my gripes.

The appliances are Hotpoint brand (except for the microwave). I think they should consider a better brand for appliances. Hotpoint is cheap and there's a reason why.

The traps under the sinks are sealed with PVC cement which means, drop something down the sink and you cannot get it out by simply undoing the trap.

The thermostats aren't accurate. I set my AC at 78 and the thermostat says it's 72. A programable thermostat would be the way to go. The Mill appartments in Manchester are older and cheaper and they have programable thermostats.

Every renter gets a car port for one car at no additional cost - fantastic! BUT in the pooring rain be prepaired to dash through a waterfall as the rain poors off the roof of the car port. A simple solution would be to install gutters.

Word of caution to anyone considering a building near I84...extreamly noisy! If you don't like living on the Interstate, stay away from any building that runs parallel to it. A solution that would help would be for Waterford Commons to errect sound barrier walls - I don't understand why they don't.

The brighter side to Waterford Commons is their maintanance staff. The buildings are kept very clean as well as the grounds. And they are responsive to service calls. My hat is off to them!

The apartments them selves are almost sound proof. Neighbors really have to go out of their way to distrub you with noise or sounds you wish not to hear. However, sounds travel through the entry door to the apartment as if it were paper. So be cautious of what you say or do in the kitchen or dinning room as anyone passing outside your door will hear you clear as day.
