The new management has totally rearranged the standards of living there. Most of the tenants whom lived there for multiple years have decided to look elsewhere. There is an overwhelming amount of noise especially living in an end Unit. You will notice doors leading out to the rear which people let slam at all hours of the night. So between the noise of the highway and the slamming of doors sleep was a luxury!

Experienced mice in the building, the complex resolutions were to lay toxic traps without regards to a child s wellbeing.

For safty take a look at building 147 the Video Camera's was ripped out of the wall!

Staff will lie and say they live on site when actuality none do.

On multiple occasions I have found people spraying pesticides inside of our building without notice. This should alert any and all parents who have baby crawlers. Additionally they allowed two additional building to become pet friendly without informing existing renters. This information would have been nice in the event you or you children have allergies. The pet size is 70lbs! The very first week of living within coexistence there was dog poop right in front of the door step!

The mail comes late and not at all on Fridays. Not really the complex fault but another annoyance.

I would suggest Ribbon Mills! There is no other than Patty (probably why Equity Apartments sold Waterford Commons) There are many other places to choose from aside from Waterford commons.

Vintage Grove offers more luxury for the same price
Ribbon Mills offers little less for amenities but make up with a great staff.

I caution any and all who rent from Waterford Commons YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT!!!!!

Wow, that is suprising as I live in one of the new dog buildings and thought it was a great idea. I received a notice under my door about the change, maybe you forgot about yours. I do not have children, but think it is good that the management company is obviously taking care of pest problems and I would assume that if you needed to be notified you would have been. It sounds like you had one of the units close to the highway and that may have been your noise issue. I do not have an issue with noise at all and think my neighbors and the staff are all welcoming and courteous. I am sorry you had a bad experience, but I believe that you are in the minority of those who reside at Waterford Commons; It is a GREAT place to live!!

I totally agree with the second post. My husband and I lived at Waterford for two and a half years. The only reason we left is because of the fact that we bought a house. We met great people at Waterford Commons including staff who were invited to our wedding. It was a wonderful place to live. Almost ANY place that has dogs living there has a problem with poop!!! It is not the staff's fault that there are irresponsible pet owners that don't pick up after their pets. As for your mail issue, I never had a problem with the mail, infact I and most of the residents in both the buildings I lived in knew the mailman by name and he knew ours as well. Another thing to get staight is the fact that Waterford was NEVER owned by Equity, that is usually low income housing and Waterford is a luxury community. They were previously owned by Metric property management company and Metric was great. They even had a thirty day Satisfaction gaurantee in case when you moved in you didnt like it there. As for the new management, they are owned by two of the largest property management companies in the state that merged. I think they know what they are doing. I can't say anything for the staff except I know that the mantainance is still the same and besides being short staffed they are FANTASTIC. The last thing that I have to say about your ridiculous post is that the deposit only doesn't come back to you if you really messed up the apartment. I know this because my mother-in-law made sure of this when we moved in because she put up the deposit for us. She wanted to make absolutely sure we would get it back if we did not damage anything in the apartment and we cleaned up after ourselves when we moved out. I think that maybe YOU had a bad experience, but I think for the most part people have a great experience at Waterford. There are always about 10% of people in the world that no-one will ever please, guess your in that percentage.

I agree with the first post. The new management is absolutely terrible. All they are concerned with is making money. And by the way, some of us specifically requested a dog-free building because we do not like dogs, and some are afraid of dogs, and now they are letting dogs in just to make more money on people coming in who have dogs. The new company changed many policies which they never informed the residents about. And lastly, there seems to be a growing problem with BED BUGS which the management will do nothing about except have exterminators come out and charge the residents for the bills. This place is terrible.

Not only Mice that are getting from who knows where, I had to KILL 4 of them. NOW there are roaches in the buildings too. The place is really going to the dogs. The pool is nasty, I got a body rash from the pool. Of course the management is not doing enough. Also the halls and windows are never cleaned like before. Thanks.... but not going to recommend this place.
