This complex is old and scuzzy. My reason for signing a lease was the rent of 675 but it is not worth it at all. When I began to get behind some of the kitchen appliances it was absolutely disgusting...grease and dirt. I am still cleaning the place with Lysol. Someone continues to pee in the hallway/steps area leading up to my
apartment. Read details below.

The hallway carpeting is very dirty and one area smelled of urine....they finally replaced a very small section of the carpet...the whole carpeting including other areas should have been replaced so you can say maintenance is done very, very cheaply here if at all. The dirty carpeting is what smells. The urine smell continues due to someone still urinating in the area. This is definitely unsanitary
and I am quite sure a health violation by code.

The overall look of the place is simply "seedy" despite some flowers on the grounds etc. I am also not that impressed with the leasing manager or with overall maintenance. There is a new property manager but I am not at all impressed with her...she does what she can to circumvent requests for cleaning the hallways etc..
simply a "parrot" for the owner I'm sure.

The property has recently been purchased by Cormorant Realty...prior owners were Equity
Management. My initial impression of the new owners is not good....cut costs and do the minimum even if there is a urine smell.

Some of my neighbors are on the "strange side".....so I keep my door locked at all times with a security lock. Middletown police have made numerous visits to some residents in one of the buildings....domestic violence...drugs...AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.

Now that winter is here my windows and patio door are horrible. They apparently are
the original windows (about 30 yrs. old) and drafts and loss of heat (electric) is
bad. I am afraid to look at my first heating bill.


The overall feel of this place is not good and the property manager could care less.



MY RECOMMENDATION----LIVE ELSEWHERE IF YOU CAN. UNLESS YOU LIKE THE SMELL OF URINE!
