It all depends on your neighbors

I have lived here for two plus years now. The noise level all depends on your neighbors. Our upstairs neighbors from this past summer were always quiet, I would occasionally hear them talking in low tones. My current neighbor is their polar opposite, with some screaming and one very noisy child with no bedtime.
With little sound insulation it's the luck of the draw with this place. Our dishwasher also has never worked since we moved in. The rent has jumped $25 each year from an original $725 for a two bedroom to a current $775.
On the positive side the apartments on Butternut St. rather than Thomas St. are quieter, have a better view, and street parking. Heat and Hot water is included, and the living room and bedrooms are amply sized. I can hang planters from my deck and grow flowers and vegetables in containers. Cats are allowed, and my cat loves to watch the strays that are all over this complex.
