My boyfriend and I moved in seven months ago from Boston and we have already made numerous freinds in the community. We have a Black Lab and it is a very pet friendly environment. There is a nice area behind the buildings facing the brooke to walk her. The office staff has also been very accomodating to us. They are very friendly. During the summer the pool was a great spot hang out, have cook-outs and meet people (it sometimes got a little loud with some children). My boyfriend works in Hartford and I'm in New Haven so it's a pretty nice location for us and easy access to the highway. As far a prices go, it's really a good deal, but we're used to Boston Rents. They have also been flexible with our lease, so we don't have to lock into a year contract b/c we are looking to buy.

As far as the apartment itself goes, the only thing that really bothers me is the lack of space/storage. We have a two-bedroom with washer/dryer and the closet space isn't that great. The living room is quite large and has a nice fireplace with plenty of wall space for our furniture/entertainment center. I think they should have traded some of that space for more room in the bedrooms and closets when they built them.

One last complaint is directed to those residents who aren't courteous enough to pick up after their dogs. It's unfair to the rest of use who follow the rules.

Overall: Our best apartment yet!
