what a load of crap

This is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune of having to live in. The staff's fake smiles at first may get your guard down, but beware. They fined me for *accusing* me of not picking up after my dog. I can count on one hand the number of residents who actually pick up after their dog(s) every time (or at all), and I'm one of them (possibly the only one).

It costs $1600 a month to live in my small three bedroom, two bathroom apartment. You'd think for that much, the windows would at least be able to seal the draft out. I have unfixed problems that I called in for two years ago, and I know for a fact that they are not nearly that busy. Busy packing down donuts in the maintenence shack or something maybe...

Over this two year period the rent has been needlessly bumped from $1250 to $1550 (excluding the extra $50 i have to pay every month for the dog). Even the original $1250 a month was far from worth it. They make the room they use for the virtual tour look like a five star hotel to try to suck people in. Yeah right, if anyone could actually afford that stuff, they wouldn't be living in Windsor Ridge, believe me.

The management makes rules yet doesn't bother enforcing them. And therefore, nobody is scared of the management anymore when it comes to breaking rules.

In the winter, expect the spot you worked so hard to shovel out to be taken while you're out. Some people might actually back out of their half shoveled spot when they see you leave and take your spot. Also don't be suprised when people who do not have a handicap tag park in the handicap spot. Even the staff does it.

Speaking of those virtual tours, if they actually let you hear what the apartment was like also, you'd most likely hear loud music rumbling through the walls from any of the surrounding rooms. Once again, the staff will not do anything about it, even if this is done past 10:00 at night (Which is a rule they themselves made yet don't bother enforcing) or at any time of the night. They won't because it would take money to make the necessary notices regarding the situation and stuff, and then of course since it costs money, the money-hungry staff would lose some of their pool filling for their personal money pools at their houses. The staff does not care about the well-being of their residents, they just put on their fake smiles until they can sucker you into signing a lease.

Bottom line: I'd rather repeatedly smash my face in with one of the broken doorknobs that remain unfixed after reporting it two years ago until my life expires than sign one more blasted lease in this pig farm of an apartment complex. Thank God I'm about to move.
