When first visiting the complex I was overwhelmed. The grounds were nice, lots of amenities, and nice apartments. After living here for two years I have a different opinion. The complex still impresses me however the living experience does not. These apartments have electric heat which is out of control in the winter. The windows do not insulate - When the thermostat was set at 68, one bedroom would get as cold as 50 in the winter. I had to buy an electric blanket to sleep at night.
Maintenance responds fairly quick to problems but do not resolve the issues. A few minor problems were never fixed in the two years we were there. The sink had a leak in the pipe that was flooding our bathroom and causing mold under the cabinet. They patched the pipe with some glue that held for one day but the leak reappeared. I'm no plumber, but I could have replaced the pipes and fixed the problem myself instead of doing a patch job.
The neighbors are extremely loud, we've complained to the management numerous times but never got a resolution. There's no excuse for swearing and screaming outside at 4 AM on a weekday.
The gym was upgraded while we living there, that's a bonus. The rent increases each year and it is getting out of control. I would not recommend this.
