My first year was excellent. I lived in a two bedroom apt. at the top floor. No noise and no problems at all. Yes, the rent was a little high. Since I was in love with the apartment and the service, but thanks of the economy short in money, I decided to move to a smaller one bedroom apt. at the other side of the complex. That was a total mistake. My upstairs neighbor turns her radio on at 6:00am and there's no way you can fall asleep later. You can hear everything, when somebody enters or leaves the building, steps, dogs barking... There's no insulation at all. Another thing; on a rainy day the entrance of the building gets flooded and if you arrive home after 10:00pm prepare to walk. There are no parking spots available close by.
On the other side, I cannot complain about the girls at the office. They are the BEST!

Please - the girls in the office probably wrote that review. Just don't move here. The electric bill is horendous in the winter. The back yard is a swamp from the golf carts running through it after it rains. The women lie in the office and make the rules up as they go just to be -------. My space is not worth half what I pay. Please don't move here - sadly you will be deceived. Not to mention all of the white trash that hang at the pool. They get so upset when someone else is in there spot!! AND Jessica, you really should present herself alittle more professional.

I live on the top floor of one of the buildings and it is extremely quiet- so great. I would defs not want to live on the first floor- b/t the noise from door/ppl going up stairs, car lights shining in windows, noise from large ac/heater units, and the flooding thing that I guess happens there- i hear them vaccumming it out- v. loud. The pool is excellent- sure there is some "white trash" but it is an apt. pool in middletown, CT- don't expect it to look like the one on Melrose Place. Everyone at the pool is very nice and the ofc staff are great too. Never had a problem with either. I live in front of building, not back so can't speak to the lawn issue. I thought the electric was ridiculously cheap/low. Again- think it helps that i'm on the top floor. The parking is fine where my building is- plenty of it- may not get a spot right by the building if after 10- but the walk is short! My only complaint is some barking dogs this summer (in another building but cld still hear) and the annoying vacumming noise with the flooding. So overall- I really like living here--- but if you are planning on moving here I recommend getting a top floor apt for both noise and heating issues.
