Does Not Live Up to Promises & Way Over Priced

My husband and I moved into Northwoods in August 2005. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit that takes pets. All seemed great at first, however the honeymoon ended after a few months.

People do not pick up after their pets, the dog walk is rocky and has deep holes in it...so deep the water drainage pipes show underground, don't even try going down after dark. Pet owners do not care and let their animals urinate right on the building, air conditioning units and sidewalks. When we told management, their reply was to find out who it was...yeah like I have the time to be a P.I.

Anyway, winter came around and they do a lousy job of cleaning the parking lot and walkways...they hardly put any salt or sand down and forget if you want to get to your car, they don't shovel the walks to your car. It was so bad, my neighbor was walking her dog, slipped and fell and now has a metal rod in her arm that broke! and still they do not shovel the walks. There is hardly no parking, we always have to park in what we call the pit.

The tile in the bathroom is falling off the wall, the bathroom fan makes this outrageous noise, our toilet handle has broken twice, I ended up fixing it...maintainence is ridiculous, they ride around in golf carts and almost ran my husband and 2 small dogs over without even slowing down. Our bedroom doesn't get warm, even with the heat on 75....we had to buy a little heater.

Another thing with this place is what I refer to as a revolving door condo. People move in and out so darn quick, don't even bother talking to your neighbors, they'll be gone in a few weeks. Ours moved out in the middle of the night and we had new ones five days later! It's like a factory.

The bottom line is, this place seems great in the beginning, but beware, they charge way too much and don't deliver anything but empty promises. Needless to say we're breaking our lease and moving out in March.
