Murder, bad smell , Fire.

I was about to move in, with lease all set. Noticed a bad smell in the hall, one agent told me it was food, the other said it was an air freshner. The renoated apt. just had new carpet...thats all! They lied about A/C elec. bills, $30 a month'' When asked about the Murder and Fire...The manager said "that happens everywhere, you cant control it"...Okaaay...It never happened where I lived. Good luck...lock your doors, hold your breath, and ask lots of questions.
