A year was enough

Ok, im going to break this down like a couple people before me did.
1. Couldnt agree more with the previous, i moved here from out of state and didnt know what to expect from this town, or sagamore hills. Within the first 3 days of me living there my wifes car was broken into and the radio/cds were stolen. There are a TON of break in in this parking lot. You always see cars with trash bags as windows.
2. The noise that come from above you or below is very annoying for 2 reasons. One reason being is I have a little child, the people above me partied almost every night from about 10pm - 5Am. I told management, called the cops and nothing was ever done, for the whole year i was there I cant remember getting more than 2 full nights of sleep a week, and that includes my 5 year old child who had bags under his eyes the whole time we lived there. Now the other reason that the noise is a bit too much is because you have to realize, this building was built some time ago and was built as projects, so the materials, effort and craftsmanship that was put into this building was awful. Every time the person above me yelled, belched, farted, fell, closed the recliner, truned the radio up loud, i could here it. So basically every time my child jumped, ran, played dropped something heavy, it disturbs the people under, who also are annoyed.
3. The tennants in this building are from every walk of life, theirs family people, college kids, senior citizens, drug dealers, and wanna be thugs. The back of the building is always being vandalized, or spray painted. There are always cars parked in the front circle with music playing, especially at the night time and weekends when management is not around. I think alot of the vandalism and theft is done by tennants, not random people. These apartments are not near downtown, or the college, i dont see people going up the hill to rob people when they have all of downtown, and all the young rich kids at the wesleyan, the theft at sagamore is done by tennants.
4. Thet positives that I have while at this place are as follows, the Pool is great, always clean, acessible and open at posted time. The gym is average but had treadmills if your into that. The management staff, especially Jo-Anne, i found to be very nice and accomodating but you have to realize there is only so much they can do about any of these issues. The Maintenance guys, which there was 2 of them when i was there are awesome, if you have a problem they are up within minutes to check it out and fix it, there a little quiet but very nice, and handy. The Laundry room is conveniant. There usually washers and dryers always open, however several times i had clothes stolen, and someone even stole my hamper............. who does that'
I have never lived in a big building like this but I must say between the vandalism and theft and noise this was probably the most stress filled, noisy year of my life. I have lived in a different spot in Middletown for the last year and I love it, so dont be scared away from the town, I just owuld never recommend living here, not even to one of my enemies.
