Institutional, Practical

There's nothing special here, but for the price (which includes everything but electric and cable) it's not bad. The downside (it's a bit claustrophobic): institutional human-cage feel, stark white walls that nothing will hang in, small windows, occasional foot traffic noise from the apartment above, drafts from windows that need to be stopped up with blankets, inadequate AC that doesn't touch the bedroom, daytime noise from machines at the new complex behind it, and a seamy reputation. The upside (it's easy): prompt, efficient and friendly maintenance, great office staff, built-in exercise facilities, no hassel moving/apartment hunting, relatively spacious, and minimal street noise. Overall, it's perfect if you need to move in fast, don't want to worry about maintenance issues or parking, and don't plan on spending lots of time in the apartment. I'll be moving out at the end of the lease as I'm a bit of a homebody and would like someplace more home-y, but it'd be fine for most people.
