They violated the lease agreement

I had a leak in my roof the was dripping through the walls of my apartment. It caused the ceiling to collapse in the unit below me. Management refused to even give us a timeline for when the damage would be repaired. I had to contact the board of health to get them to make the repairs.
I came home once and found a man that was supposedly a member of maintenance in my home with no work order, no uniform, no nametag, no tools, and no reason to be in my apartment. I confronted the man and he lied, saying that he called me before he entered my apartment. I complained to management and they did absolutely nothing about it. They refused to even guarantee me that the man would never come into my home again and told me to feel free to move out if I wanted!
The day I moved in my toilet was broken. I called them 3 times to get it fixed which they never did. It took them over 6 months and I finally had to demand it in writing.
The apartments are nice, but don't be fooled. I have lived in 15 different apartment complexes throughout my life, and I have never encountered a management team that was so unconcerned with their tenant's rights or safety. I had contact with every single manager and even the regional manager for Capreit which owns Town Place, do not be fooled, they are HORRIBLE at what they do. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF LIVING HERE.
