I searched through a few apts in the rocky hill/middletown area before seeing this one. i was a little put off by the higher price at first, but after seeing what i could get for $900 at some other places (non-updated, cramped, dark apts), this one was a winner. I felt good the instant I walked in. the rooms were spacious and bright, and i love the fireplace and balcony. it's actually not that expensive when you factor in the free cable, fireplace, and washer/dryer. The only setbacks are that parking is often limited (come home at the wrong hour and you may be parking further than you want) and there is no storage space (unless you want to pay $40 a month extra). Barring those 2 things, I am proud to have friends come over, and the apt is very comfy. Even though they list it as a 1-bedroom unit, it has a 'den', which is actually a 2nd smaller bedroom. It has a full closet. I use it as an office, but it easily could be a child's bedroom; it would be cramped with a queen-size bed.

I've never had a problem with staff. The maintenance guy, Bud, is super-friendly.

neighbors are very friendly. people always say 'hi' and i see many people chatting with others. i'm not around enough to get to know people on a more personal level, but i definitely recognize a lot of people by face. people are always out walking or walking their dogs. the location is very convenient to the highway. seems like mostly young professionals/young families.

I recently moved out of Windshire because I bought a condo, but I agee with everything you say. The staff especially is 4 Star in my book! I wish I could get Bud to do the maintenance here where I live now!
