I lived here in 2001-2002 and was satisfied. I lived on the ground floor in a unit not overlooking the pool and was happy. There was an incident with bats that year. One got into my shower but that problem was quickly taken care of by management. Kudos to them. I moved to a bigger place after that year and moved back 2006 when i downsized. I again lived in a ground floor apt (less of hassle moving in since there is no elevator). The floor boards creaked something fierce. I had to wear earplugs to bed, and turn my tv up to full blast just to hear it if people were moving about upstairs. Their alarm clock woke me up at 5am and i was miserable every time they hit the snooze button. My guests were horrified when they came over at the amount of noise I had to put up with. I wrote a letter to management detailing my distress and they promised to come do something about it. By this time, I was close to losing my sanity and willing to break my lease. I moved there in the summer and left in the fall by transferring to another property. I thought i was overly sensitive to the noise so i didn't complain at first, but then I found this site!

So as much i really liked my stay the first time, i would have to say don't move here as the floorboards creak, and you hear everything from the other apartments. Management was really nice though and helpful and I'm sure they're trying their best with such an old complex.
