im a college student at ccsu, and moved into essex place the week before my classes started. during the summer, i had no problem getting parking passes for my friends.....now i cant get any because the mgmt doesnt give them out. they used to have great parties here, until one night the manager and her posse (i think it was another manager) showed up and became the ESSEX PLACE NAZIS. they were patrolling the halls and front door waiting to pounce on unsuspecting college kids out to have a good time. if you ever go in the office to talk to them (the red head isnt here as much) they dont even hear you out, they just do whatever they want. now you'd think since the girl in the office is also in college, shed be real cool and sneak us parking passes, and give us free cards when we lost them. she wont. its creepy seeing her here on the weekends with her boyfriend (who lives here might i add) dont know how the guy puts up with someone so unfun....good thing shes mad hot...i guess it makes up for her personality. another problem here is they try to charge you for damages that you didn't committ. the only good thing is there are no RAs...and the "security" staff is useless. live here for a good time, but just dont go into the office.
