My roommate and I were here for a few months and had the following problems:

1) windows would not stay open in living room...we reported this to them many times and it was never fixed...we propped the windows open, but they are extremely heavy and could snap your hand off at the wrist in an accident;

2) never seemed to be able to reserve an elevator when needed though other people seemed to be able to...go figure;

3) even though there's no shortage of parking, they have a tow truck driving around loudly dragging chains and -----retentively towing cars parked in illegal spots...I could understand this if parking were at a premium but it's not...it's just a way for the mgmt. and the tow trucks to make some quick bucks...so it's a noise nuisance to tenants, what's it to them'

4) when we moved in, the place was in pretty good shape except for a water stain here and there on the ceiling and it hadn't been repainted or had anything special done to it; AFTER WE MOVED OUT, we received a move-out checklist that we had never been shown before and were billed exorbitant amounts for items like carpet cleaning (there was no damage, just day-to-day wear) and a repainting fee. Now if it wasn't painted before we moved in, why did it need it now' This was all just an after-the-fact move-out extortion attempt by people that are nice to your face but stab you in the back. Nice apartments but GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.
