Essex Place

I have been living here for about a month. This place is total crap. Elevator is broken just about every other day. People in and out all night and day long. The "security" here is a joke! Right on the lease it says no drinking allowed, at all regardless of age. I saw a kid coming in with a 30 pack one night, and didn't have a hand to open the door, so the "security" wen to open the door for him... some "security" They make this place out to be like the greatest place around, when in actuality its just a dump. The stairways smell like weed and pee, and the halls always have ---- all over them. Don't be fooled by the nice model units they show you... NONE of there other units are nearly as nice or well maintained! Things break on a regular basis and when you submit a repair request they seem to "misplace" it and just never fix anything. I have been waiting on repairs for about 3 weeks now... nothing at all. The so called free WIFI they offer is also total junk and cuts in and out. Walls here are paper thin and you can hear people in the unit next to you carry on conversations. This place is just crap. Full of college students that will most likely take 10 years to finish college seeing as they are up most nights till 4am with the music blasting. If you get next to people that like loud music, I would suggest not trying to hang things on the walls, because the music will just knock them right off the walls. STAY AWAY!!!! TOTAL JUNK!!!! you will not get a good night sleep!
