You definitely get what you pay for. The rent is cheap but the neighbors are loud, and the walls/windows are ineffective at blocking any noise. My apartment was very clean. The gas heat can be very expensive during the winter (at least $200.00 a month). My experience with the management company was pleasant; I found them to be professional and nice. They USUALLY came out to fix a problem in a timely fashion (within 3 hours). Even though the onsite laundry facility is convenient, it is mostly a mess because the machines are constantly breaking down (typically the dryers do not dry and the washing machines are filled with black water). Overall I think it is worth the money if you can take the noise (invest in ear plugs).
