Ok, a lot of reviews are single minded so let me try and be less so. This apartment is located in New Britain but it is right on the border with West Hartford which is a very well do do area. A golf course is close by, as are many shops and a large shopping Mall. I lived there for 18 months and had no issue at all with safety. Anyone can have sefaety issues regardless of where you are but I certainly didnt here. The apartments are well maintained and comfortable but you if you like long showers forget this place. 10 -15 mins maximum even in a two bed apartment. The maintenance folk here are adequate but we asked them to fix our front door (which moved about half an inch and made the door seem unlocked) on three occassions and it was never looked at in 18 months. Other things like the bathroom and Dishwasher were however. The real down side to this place is the noise from people above you on the floor. There is very poor insulation here so goi for a top floor apartment. We had many many sleepless late evenings because of floor noise.
