Horrible management, Horrible Location

The management for Normandy Heights are cheats. They seem all nice and professional at the begining when they show you the apartment, and even offer specials giving the first months rent off. However the deposit is a full months rent, and at move out they will try to deduct as much of the security deposit as possible, and sometimes even more. Trying to dispute with them for the security deposit useless as they expect the apartment to be in brand new condition when you leave (they charged me $400 for some dust in one of the cabinets, and dishwasher cleanup which I had never ever used) I even had problems with them on billing after I moved to a month-to-month basis at the end of my lease.
The location is close to West Hartford, and next to the Westfarms mall but don't be fooled. This is a very unsafe neighbourhood. I would see the cops being called for domestic disturbances on regular basis. With the walls being paper thin I was witness to most arguments/fights. During the last few months of my stay they had a convict/parolee living on the premises who had some sort of device attached to one of his legs. The police would visit him almost weekly to keep an eye on him.
My advice to unsuspecting renters would be -
PLEASE STAY AWAY. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
