I have lived here for almost a year and I can honestly say that this past year has been a disappointment. When I applied, I was shown a beautiful and upkept model home, and the apartment I was given was far from that model.

When I moved in, the kitchen cabinets were old, squeaky, and not clean, and there was also random pieces of black hair throughout the kitchen (even in the refrigerator)...gross! The entire kitchen was from the 70?s with the dark wood and ugly countertops. I did not mind paying the extra $65 a month for a balcony, yet that balcony?s paint was peeling and chipped, and there were nails sticking out in random places.

While I have had a couple of minor issues, the maintenance crew did respond quickly. There was a leak in my bathroom one night, however, from the bathroom above mine, and the maintenance man made me clean it up myself because he had other calls to get to. I understand there are minimal maintenance men working the night shift, but I should not be left cleaning up a smelly mess because of somebody else?s stupidity.

While the grounds are nice, the parking is an entirely different situation. As one other review said, if you come home after 8 at night, there is NO parking anywhere. Many times I have been stuck parking far away in a dark corner on the other side of the building from where my apartment is. Not only do I not feel comfortable walking in a dark parking lot alone, but I also don?t like leaving my car there. While I seem to be one of the lucky ones who have not had their car stolen or broken into, my car was broken into a year ago at a different location and I no longer feel safe leaving it here after hearing all the car horror stories in the other reviews.

Overall, the $865.00 I pay to live here alone is not worth it. For that much money I expect better quality and safety. If you are a person who wants what they pay for, then these apartments are NOT for you!
