Having lived there for 2 years, moving out in November 2005, I can honestly say the place wasn't all that great, but then again I wasn't expecting it to be. Keep in mind, it is in New Britian, and in very close proximity to CCSU. College kids partying, very loudly and late into the night (or early into the a.m.) was not all that unusual. Noise is definitly an issue. I always found management to be very responsive, and the maint. crew to do a good job. Had some issues with our garbage disposal, fixed same day, as was an issue with the bathtub faucet. Security deposit was returned in a timley manner, no witholding. Maybe because we didn't destroy the unit' The do show you an upgraded unit when you get there, the actual unit is a let down, kitchen cabinets are pretty gross. Had an issue with roaches, management sent exterminator in next day. Taking the dishes out of the cabinets each time he comes is a major inconvienence. The A/C unit was undersized for the unit, hung sheets to trap cold air in livingroom. Electric bill tripled. Heat was hit or miss. The grounds were maintaned to the best of the crew's abilities, trash would be here and there, but usually removed quickly. The hallways have no ventalation, and were usually hot and stunk like mold/mildew. Had a laundry basket stolen from laundry room. Never had our cars broken into, or were mugged. Felt safe there, except for the one time someone tried to let himself into our apartment - said he thought we were someone else...hmmm. Overall, rent was cheep, understood it IS New Britian and had low expecations. First year was better than second as far as noise went, uncontrollable the second year. Would I live there again, no, however my income has more than doubled since then. Would I recommend it, depends on the person - just remember it IS IN NEW BRITIAN.

Yes this is in New Britain, But this is not CCSU property, So as far what did I expect living near a College. What about the houses near CCSU for years they been there and look at all the trouble they had! They took care of it right away. Do not mess with those Belvidere good people.
