I am seeing that a lot of people are having problems living here and I honestly feel bad that you had to endure that experience. But I have lived at Pebblebrook for over a year now and I will only move out once I finish school in May, bot for any other reason. They management has been very flexible with the resigning of the lease and is very swift on handling management problems. I think a lot of the problems are happening in building J and H where a lot of students live but I live in K where very few students live and it is enjoyable. the only issue I have is a spider issue, but once I kept my windows closed constantly, no more spiders. Its not pebblebrooks fault so I never bother to bring it up. For $990, the apartment isn't bad you really have to live on the third floor to enjoy it I think, because no one lives above you. I feel sorry for anyone who has such a bad rep of PBA...but in all honestly, not everyone had a bad experience. Mine has been very enjoyable and very good for the price that it asks...Places that are far less suitable for anyone to live in, cost more than Pebblebrook charges!!!!
But really the only MAJOR issue is parking in the winter...but that can be fixed, if they decide to do so!

I agree with the above comment. I lived in the H building from 2003-2005 and let me tell you what a nightmare that was. At the time my son was just a baby and I had to constantly call the police on the 3 college kids that lived directly below me. The only reason why management lets these kids in is because the parent's are paying for the rent. 990 is a lot cheaper than what the dorms cost. I had a horrible living expirence there. I would never ever ever recommend Pebble Brook to someone looking for an apartment. I had a review up for a while on here but it was removed because I singled out which apartment all the hassles were coming from which was the second floor.(121) ... I feel bad for families that actually get sucked in. Glad I came to my senses and put my money into a condo instead an old, worn down apartment which the halls always smelled like nasty food and body odor. Good luck living there ... |

Obviously, you should have thought of that before you rented an apartment a mile away from a college campus. What on earth did you expect?

once again this is not a dorm.
so when I rented this I was not told this was owned by CCSU!!!!!
so glad the Belevidere area by CCSU got involved with the jerks that attend CCSU. I was told that hard working people from ESPN, UConn and people with jobs live here, no mention of CCSU at all. You should be considerate like your parents raised you. This isn't just for the college students, look around there are familes here with little kids!!!

My fiance and I lived at PBA for 2 years. It was horrible! I am a CCSU student and I even complained about the awful noise and parties some of the other students would have. I think it is an embarassment to the rest of the CCSU student body to have so many complaints about the noise. We moved out due to the extreme rudeness of the management staff, mold in the bathroom from leaking pipes, bugs and mice EVERYWHERE! Absolutley disgusting. Never move in there!
